On which operating system will this program work? It will work on Windows XP, service pack 2

Windows Vista

Windows 7
Will it work on 64-bit PC's Yes it will work on both 32-bit and 64-bit PC's
How much RAM is needed Preferably 1Gb
How much hard disk space is required Minimum of 4 Gb
Does my PC need to be sound enabled? Yes
Do I need Speakers? Yes
Do I need headphones? This will be the best, because the child will then be able to work at his/her own pace without disturbing the rest of the family

For which grade is the product intended?  

P44 = Individual units - Gr.1-7

P42 = Secondary school 

(but Secondary school children will be able to use individual units for revision)

 
Do you get worksheets? Most lessons will have worksheets with answer sheets. You can print out these worksheets and will also get workbooks with each set
How many lessons all together? Mathematics = 800+in English

Wiskunde = 700+ in Afrikaans

Reading = 2500 + in English

Spoedlees = 2500 + in Afrikaans

Electronic dictionary = 4000+ = (words, synonyms, antonyms, descriptions, zulu words etc.)

Elektroniese Woordeboek = 4000 + (woorde, sinonieme, antonieme, beskrywings, zulu ens.)

How is the lessons presented? All lessons are in full colour with audio. Every calculation is explained step-by-step 
Do I need to be with my child all the time? No , it is specifically created so that the little ones can work on their own
Is it made in South Africa? Yes, it is made in South Africa with the South African children in mind.

Is this better than extra lessons? As far as we are concerned the biggest benefit of having the Rock series in your house is that your child can listen to the same lesson over and over again..

You pay once for the full product and you can buy small upgrades over a period of time at minimal fees

Today, extra lesson can cost any thing from R50 per hour to R250 per hour.. average of R150 per hour

If you take your child for 4 lessons per month, it will cost you R600 per month.

The child is usually in a classroom with no less than 10 to 15 children.

Therefore no individual attention benefit in any case. if you child still doen not understand a topic, then you need to take your child back and pay again

This can easily cost you R6000 (over 10 months) for the additional 4 lessons per month

You can only take one child to an extra lesson for a specific price..

if you have more than one child, you will have to pay extra..

with the Rock Series all your children can use this at once

 
Is it curriculum based? All topics presented are curriculum based but are  not grade specific. We do this specifically for the bigger children who fell behind in lower grades

If they battle with Fractions, they can do the fractions without denting their ego's.  

Product codes

Each product will get it's own product code which is only licenced to work on one PC. Please ensure that you product code is insured with the rest of your household contents.

If your hard disk crashes and you have to replace it, we will give you a new activation code free of charge

If however, you have to buy a brand new PC, for whatever reason, we will supply you with a new code at half price. ( we will need supporting documents before we will be able to supply you with such a new code) Terms and Conditions apply
